Loads of interesting stuff there. Did you buy anything ? I think my favourite is the orange Sony cube thing. It would go great with a Weltron 2001. Was it just a radio ? Second would be the Hitachi boombox. A local shop was a Hitachi main dealer and always had those in. Back when one would have cost me six weeks wages.
Some nice items there! I will have to visit one of these one-day, Tonbridge isn't that far away from me, my mum used to be the manager of Stead And Simpsons when they were around.
I bought that little sanyo with the case for 5 pounds! I dont think it had ever been taken out of its case as it was immaculate underneath. It worked just fine too, just needed the saggy belt swapping out and all the dust removed.
Yes i got the Sanyo in the leather case! A baragin at 5 pounds! The Sony cube radio was AM only but in very good condition. It closed up into a smaller cube if you squeezed the sides together. I could have spent a fortune at that place but I just dont have the space for more stuff.
Holy crud basket, hopefully you have a small air compressor. Those are classic Sanyo's, I've posted several newspaper ads just for the little guy.
ianthepostie. I was looking at your post saying when this was taking place. I wish I had gone now. I'm not far from tunbridge/ Wells so could have made it quite easily. Some really good stuff there.
