Sony EBP-7 battery tray

    Hi.
    Gentlemen/Ladies, can the Sony EBP-7 battery tray charge AA batteries or is it just a power supply for the Walkman.

    no it has no charging function
    there should be a switch in the socket that disconnects the battery when you connect it to the external power supply

    All the sidecars I have seen have no charging circuit.
    Some don’t even have a power jack.
