    Hello Everyone,

I have this great SK-909L that I am thinking about selling, but wanted to hear if you think anyone would be interested in it? The cassette deck is not working though I can hear the motor spinning when pressing play/rew/ff. Apart from that everything works well and I have been very impressed with the build quality and sound (and weight of the thing!!).

Looking forward to hearing what you think

I moved the thread down here, I saw the ebay listing. Good luck with the sale it's an iconic booombox that looks fantastic. We rarely see them for sale over here, personally I got lucky with a barn find that my friend dropped off in the middle of the night on my door step.

    Thanks Mister X!
And a nice friend you have gotten there that dropped it off on your door step! I actually also got mine from a friend that gave it to me many years ago, and I have been contemplating for some years if I should let it go, because it is such a nice machine! If it sells I am going to take my friend on a trip paid by the boom box. :)

I tell all my friends about my hobbies and it pays off although sometimes I get boxes of free "stuff." I was just shrink-wrapping up some boomers for storage and wondering if future generations will even care about these treasures. I was out in the garage earlier changing out my snow tires (it was supposed to snow today, this time of year it's usually 70 degrees), listening to a boombox through a bluetooth AUX dongle and enjoying doing some grunt labor with good music.

Good luck with the sale, hopefully it finds a new home.
