Hi guys I am new to this forum and wish you all the best from Berlin. I´ll be researching here quite a bit since I made a mission for myself to put together a stereo that is able to play most of the relevant formats possible before my parents let their old gear rot away in the basement :)

Welcome! We used to have a lot of "big" collectors located in Berlin, Radio Heir used to have that huge wall of boomers and the famous photo but I can't find it on the internet or /forumreader anymore.

Oh since I´m only trying to get the stuff working we have in the household anyway it´s going to be, cassette, vinyl, cd and reel-to-reel tape. I don´t even think I´ll be needing to play the older formats on a regular basis but I think it´s fun to be able to. Sometimes my father speaks about his tape collection that he still has lying around somewhere and with a working tape player we could be listening to them and have a good time together :)

Have fun listening to all those formats, hopefully you will discover some nice tracks in there. :thumbsup2:
