yup i bought one supposed to be fully working also is this walkman a good one need quick responses sorry no pic as my computer is being an utter bastard at the moment all i know if walkmans don't work they seem to be worth nothing lads
One just sold over here for $30 USD but there's one in Australia for $738 AUD, other then that they're pretty rare around here. I rarely get working units anymore, even if it's just a belt, they still need a deep dive cleaning on the controls and transport. Luckily things like missing channels and low volume on one side are usually corroded switches. The Goldstar I just got has a tiny switch in the back next to the RCA out to toggle between phono or aux on the one set of RCA outs. That little bugger was causing a bunch of sound issues until it got partially cleaned.
bit worried mr x don't usually spend this much but 30 wow lad lol here is the link forgot i can do that panasonic rq s5v https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/23511095...+e5zOMgpywmTLSVtwLwAU2JQ==|tkp:Bk9SR767q-vBYg
It's great player but abolutely not worth that much. I would say 200$-150£ that would be max. Better walkmans like S80 are going for this price
Thank you Raul i gave an s80 away fully working many moons ago lad as i sold a bunch of walkmans to a member many moons ago i wasn't that impressed maybe i was using the wrong headphones at the time same as the sonys that you had with dolby c that you could not fix very underpowered lad.......now i have some very low impedance headphones great for walkmans my friend the sony xb 1000 but they are huge lol
i agree i may be a nutter in this case i have never spent anything like this on any walkman what do you think of the condition lad its hard to tell as i am partially blind also love this one but the guy is smoking weed imho https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/37487884...PJ8ANgIFXmgpw46nnld76Qk1Le|tkp:Bk9SR9zu2rDCYg
This price is absurdly high. It's really like new condition, but for this price I would buy a LOT better walkman. And serviced it.
I have couple of them. both non-functional due to capacitor leak. So I do not recommend ANY PANASONIC. unless you find somebody to completely recap tiny surface mount capacitors.
That's my walkman revival over then boodoo/ no more of them for me as i may as well set fire to my noney lol....i already have a farked aiwa px 303 i have noticed the rolers are hard and its already chewing tapes since yesterday////fark this walkman lark and tapes guys lol
Well i have the walkman now. sounds great pinch rollers look ok too....what i like about this one has 3 sxbs settings and a tuner....quite often i have the sxbs set in the middle as on full it's quite powerful////so all good in the end also found another dolby c walkman also again a panasonic in my draws mn rq p 25 also seems to work great and xbs goes from 1 to 10 on this one but no tuner this time lads nice one.....one thing i will say these older panasonics seem more powerful than the newer ones lads
Can you confirm the Panasonic model number? Is it the RQ-P525 I captured in the Dolby C overview (see my signature)?
Yes my bad emiel she is indeed the rq p 525 and NOT the rq25, damn i could have made millions lad lol
