Hey ! I just get the very last walkman I was looking for my collection ! The red D-50mkii (yes you're right that's actually a Discman) Here you can watch my full video (I've added English subtitles if you don't speak French) : and if ever you're curious, here is the Black/white/silver board that I show in my first post on the forum : The next step for me is to hang them on a wall, a bit like in an exhibition. If you have any tips on how to hang them, please let me know : for now here is what I would like to test : https://command.3m.co.uk/3M/en_GB/command-gb/ it seems pretty strong, and leaves absolutely no marks on the device (I've tested it for one week only though)
Thanks for sharing beautiful work and the subtitles are a nice touch. I've used the 3M Velcro Tape, I've got it on some wall frames and it's been holding for over six years. I've used it in the past and remember some things fell off the wall. The velcro connection was fine but the adhesive on the wall failed. I might have had something like a radio at the time? So these days I just limit it to things that won't break if they fall.
Thats a magnificent effort in getting those items in the condition you have. You were my inspiration to buy the making modern book and a vinyl Sony boy. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you for this feedback Mister X. And do you think it can work fine if I just use them for 3-4 days only ?
Always nice to see something a bit left field. Love the different colours and i know from experience it’s extremely hard to get good condition coloured units nowadays. Everything is priced with a premium tag.
Oh wow that's beautiful ! I once saw a picture of walkman arranged by colors/following color spectrum, was it from you too ?
Hmm, I think the only one I have similar is this, which is the color wheel. Making the color spectrum would be easy, although I'd have to remove the pink as this color doesn't exist in the rainbow
