    BASF hifi-components usually came from Blaupunkt, i had a few over the years, i remember them beeing tough built and good quality, but nothing made by BASF themselfe.
    with that portable stuff, they made connections with japanese companies. it's hard to say, but i guess there's quite a lot of AIWA touch to those units :hmmm

    I found these over on archive.org, the internal search engine stinks but wegavision and another German Member post some wonderful stuff if you can find it.
