Does anybody know this Boombox

    I wasn`t able to discover the brand. AIWA ? It`s too dark to check...

    Yep, that's a really nice site, one of the best and fun to revisit. Cool Boombox, those Philips are non-existant over here.

    I found one of these in a charity shop for £40, not done much with it tbh, but as Radio Raheem said above, the fixings for the speakers break easily, one was broken on this one. I've temporarily 'fixed' it with a large bolt that seems to work. I can tell you it's bl**dy heavy to carry around on the highstreet, and that was without batteries in it!

    I think , the reason, they`ve used it in the movie, is the contract including Philips product placements. In 007-movies you can often see Philips stuff... Like Omega or Rolex for watches, or Walther for guns ( OK, the Walther PPK is already written in the novels... ) Interesting is Bonds HiFi Equipment in his Jamaican flat, Marantz and W&B.
