I've got a stack of stale cans, I'll get this back rolling!

The Samsung P-74S, a very cool three-piecer and heavy! With phono/line in, 4 ohm external speaker jacks, two mic inputs and lots of LEDs on the front, this is a very nice looking boombox and much better than some of the other lightweights. Don't bother looking on Wikiboombox, it isn't even listed but it's AKA, the UHER Power Port is and I think there's other versions but I'd guess Samsung was the builder. This boombox has a great tuner, much better than most of them, I can pull in a lot of stations easily. I posted the Goldstar last summer, another Korean Entry, both great builds for 80's three-piecers, they really look alike style-wise.

I scored on the Off Color Brewing, Beer For The Top Shelf from Chicago, what a great mix of lager and maple syrup, I only got one in a sample pack and I would get it again if I could find it.

It's hard to tell from a photo if it has a little too much plastic, it's definately a different design, maybe they used real industrial designers or got it from California?

The professor and I were deep in the jungle this winter, searching for the lost fountain of youth, while our mission might be never-ending we did find a new nector that was refreshing and mind-numbing. Behold, Coco De Mer Imperial Porter with hints of vanilla & coconut clocking in at a robust 7%!

When I first joined this forum I was more of a troll, hanging out below in the Walkman Section getting blasted by AO regularly on my unspectacular finds but I watched and observed, noting the cool models I was never exposed to as a kid. Here our some of our winter finds, the JVC CQ-1K, I don't remember any JVC Junk and these should be part of every collector's shelving, with an all-star build and classic looks. The other one is a little more new and plasticy, the Hitiachi CP-200RC, Taiwan made, these used to be pretty hard to find but there a few on ebay as we speak. The big tuning knob and huge buttons are a little different then what were were seeing back then.

Let's welcome the trolls up here and get the party started!

    great :applause

the JVC is one of my favourite units and that Hitachi is only rare as a Hitachi, there were thousands of clones out there (f.ex. Saba Journey…). off course i never heard of that beer here in germany and consider a proper headache, just thinking of the „vanilla-touch“, but finally a beer - cheers, mate

Welecome to the party! Over here new breweries are popping up and closing all the time, I look back at the thread and ask, What happened to that stuff? Throw down anything, we don't care if your not partying.

Hitachi's are much more rare over here, I don't think this one has been posted on here before and it gets my non-existant colletion of them started! I got really lucky with the JVC, it still has a mint case with it.
