So recently I found out that my walkman has been playing too fast, but I only just realized it after playing it side by side with my phone, the difference is small, maybe a 1.15x speed, so it might not be too bad, but this clicking sound it makes concerns me most and might be the cause of the speed difference, any help on this would be appreciated, or if I should have it repaired, thank you
Sounds like you have a split gear. The large table gears are prone to splitting between two teeth, with the gap resulting in the clicking sound. The speed can otherwise be adjusted via the motor speed pot.
