Hi guys. I picked up a 1982 Sony Walkman at a boot sale. The Walkman is fine, but the headphone speakers are rusted to the core. Non repairable. I went on AliExpress and picked up two 23mm 30 ohm speakers that are the perfect size. I installed them into the headphones and they sound awful. Not how Sony Headphones should sound. Are there any sellers online selling audiophile 23mm 28-30 ohm headphone speakers that sound comparable to Sony Headphones?
I found some tiny drivers in a pair of Apple (possibly knockoff?) ear buds that fit in a set of MDR-W14s that sounded pretty good.
