Nak ADS ownerfor45 years.. love advice on acquiring new interconnects... mine are very stiff!

    Interconnects can be a touchy subject, it depends on your budget but they can go from dirt cheap to super expensive. Personally I have boxes of 1990's interconnects from an old company I used to work for, they were sold as an upgrade to Monster Cable's Offerings. They have gold plating and slide on and off with a good grip, they also are short, around 12" so they work perfectly. I'm staring at a bunch of them coming off the back of my AIWA 22 Stereo, unfortunately they are no longer made.

    I use Sommer SC Stage22 2-conductor cable for my budget 'Core Function [Signal]' interconnects.
    It's about the most flexible decent cable currently available anywhere.
    It also has a great copper shield layer that you can twist into a third conductor to use for pin 1 within a balanced XLR cable.
