Identify This Cassette?

    I received a box of used cassettes this morning - already posted about the “That’s” find.
    There are a couple of BASF Chrome Extra IIs and and some Maxell XLIIs amongst the usual TDK D90 and Maxell URs in there. However, does anyone recognise these quite distinctive cases?
    From the chocolate brown colour of the tape I’d guess at ‘Normal’ ferrics, but it is significantly darker than the TDK D I’ve put next to it for reference.
    No “SideA” etc. moulding in the case, but textured with a square grid pattern that hopefully someone might recognise. One was in a Sony HD-F box - but I don’t think it’s one of those - the other in an old black backed generic box.
    Over to the experts…

    I’ll need to get on to YouTube and see what I can find out.
    Not that it’s much help, but they appear to have some sort of conversational German course recorded on them. A decent recording too.
