Wow those are going for big money over there, I've got a thrift store find from years ago, nice little players that look good on the shelf.

Just noticed he seems to have sold it once before back in May? Exact same one.

Perhaps the person didn't go through with paying. Anyway, I picked it up. Will be nice to add to my collection of cases.

Whilst looking I also saw this WM-30 in pretty amazing condition for the price.

There's a whole bunch of people from Japan selling this model starting at like $800 which is nuts.

I hope with shipping the price is still good, certainly a not common case!
The WM-30 looks nice indeed; would almost consider it, although I am happy with the blue one in working condition - and the audio quality is not that great honestly.

Yeah I don't think maybe anyone has ever publicly sold that case. Least of all with the original box. I can't find any record of it.

Shipping wasn't "too bad". Though shipping prices in general are just outrageous these days and post services everywhere are just getting so much worse. I'm more annoyed that I have to pay VAT on a 40 year old piece of leather. I don't have a WM-10 in my collection but it'll fit my own WM-30.

That said, yeah the sound quality of the WM-30 isn't the best but it also isn't at all the worst. It's still better than most of the other cheap or even mid tier walkmans. Only major downside is that the W&F is pretty bad if you're walking with it because it has no stablisation. Little bit of transparent foam padding in the interior helps with that a lot though. This model is actually the one I first saw that got me into collecting in the first place.

Here is another case I have not noticed for sale before, next to the one you just acquired:

    1. Well for me this is is in the UK so that's too far away to begin with.
    2. This may be wide but I simply look at the size of the speakers which are no larger than 4 in in diameter. And in my opinion without much power behind those speakers, it's not going to give you very much sound. This unit reminds me of the Panasonic RX-C38 which is similar in looks looks and design, but it has more features.
    3. Just my two cents.

There is the rx-c38 on the shelf there at a bit of an angle cuz I just don't have any room to display things properly LOL.

Only 400 UK pounds or about 507 US dollars. Pocket change for me but I'm simply not interested in these small speaker models anymore

It definitely has a handle and a battery compartment, shame the price is a bit too steep for me as I love the looks of this one
