Inside and I have to unsolder the FM antenna wire.

So now I got to go heat up the iron.

You have to take one long screw out of the battery box and two silver screws at the top from the inside to get the front off and here's what's inside
    17217709515243296914513968688308.jpg
    The woopers are Onkyo
    17217710796812680683618687944178.jpg
And the tweeters are I don't know
    17217711292364729459073226999139.jpg
Everything is on a chassis as you can see through this from the front to the back.

Yes, that's the battery box. Hanging by three wires.

Now it's four more little screws and I can finally get to to changing the drive belt or belts. I will also be cleaning the recording bar switch once I find it.

Another GE with Onkyo speakers, they must have had a partnership. What's the speaker size?

It uses a flat belt. Didn't need changing.

It does need a tweak on the speed and this is how you go about it by the rear of the motor. It's kind of tight in here.

It's pretty easy to spray the controls once you're inside with Deoxit.

    Let's get closer

Easy to spray in this direction.

This is supposed to be the first picture of the back of the speaker 6 in across
    17217728214827606335983413169950.jpg
Measuring across the back side at the magnet. It looks to be 6 in from edge to edge of the basket of the speaker
    1721772910627170870601169726369.jpg
    2. In across the back of the basket of the tweeter
( There I think I got it figured out what picture goes where )
I can't remember which picture was supposed to go here cuz it missed one. Hard to edit in my phone

I don't know why the picture rotated and I can only go 90° in the One direction or the other but it won't go upside right as I took the picture!

Yes, this uses crossovers as the tweeters are real cone speakers.

E-bay is choked with boomboxes but all are dubious junk with secretive furtive sellers who "forget" to disclose little details... like how busted and hopelessly broken the item really is. With manipulative pictures that seek to avoid showing the busted corners and alkaline battery leak corrosion etc. ,etc. ,

But here we have everything shown, plus getting the box tuned up and all working fine, so there should be more interested buyers around I think

    GE General Electric 3-6000b & 3-6035b
The analog 3-6000b has been sold and I just wanted to get a picture of the digital one as well before I ship it off.
    17222735625667173101679495982123.jpg

I turned the phone sideways to get that picture but it righted itself.
    17222736248168279092255249714445.jpg
And now let's look at the back
    17222737085948743652090175796043.jpg
I do have the battery cover for it but I don't have all the correct knobs for the front of the radio for the digital model.
