Any information on these units as they certainly weren’t known here in New Zealand. Have the opportunity to purchase brand-new old stock. Were they any good? Model CD-210

Crown CD-110 was reviewed in 2023 (!!!) by Hi-Fi News:
    Crown CD-110 CD Player

CD-210 is basically the same player with a radio. A few months ago this model was mentioned by my friend @hlpdt10 and then I just had to get it! This is probably the only other Discman, apart from Technics SL-XP7 and such, which has this weird two-rail power supply: -6V, 0V, +6V. This kind of adapter gives some serious advantages to the Discman, realized in full by Technics/Panasonic. Not sure why CD-110/210 has it.
Hi-Fi News managed to find some nice things to say about Crown CD-110. I tried my best but failed :(

It is HUGE, all plastic. Cheap and brittle plastic. Almost as ugly as some Philips Discmans. Did I mention that it is Big? Here it is, next to Sony D-25:

and next to Toshiba, but Toshiba does not pretend being a Discman and does not even accept batteries:

My verdict - it is just a collector's item, for crazies like me o_O
