Long time lurker, first time posting! Aha I recently got into cassettes and walkmans! And someone told me this forum was great a place to learn more about both those things! I recently made my first Walkman purchase, it’s a WM-EX631 but it came with a problem, and I’m hoping I can find some help here. Have a great day everyone!
I think mine needs a belt because I wrote on the back of it Yes, I have one and I found it in this box What's the issue you having with yours?
So the issue with mine is that each time I play a tape, it sounds like it’s on fast forward (chipmunk sounding) it does go away after a few songs but it’s pretty annoying that I have to wait for that to go away, I also don’t wanna damage my tapes. I’ve cleaned the capstan, pinch rollers and playback head, but it keeps doing it.
