Welcome to the forum! A lot of us love the old gadgets, for me there's nothing better than cranking some music on a vintage piece of equipment. I still occasionally hit garage sales and thrift stores and do find some stuff but it is getting harder, always ask if they have more inside, I've gotten extremely lucky asking.
Welcome George! The more I re-learned about cassette tapes, the more I appreciate them. BTW, the other day I saw this girl about your age shopping at Goodwill, and she was listening to a walkman. I thought it looked so cool! Seeing retro stuff in the wild is so rare now.
