I'm having a hard time finding anything on this Walkman Gem, the Sony WA-88. I'm a huge fan of the chunky WA Series, there's something about the big bloated boxes when Sony was also putting out tiny state of the art Walkmans. None of these were cheap, they tended to priced a little below the top of the line (TOTL) models.

AO will probably chime in about the 10 he has under his bed but so far I haven't seen this model on the forum before. I'm posting from an ebay listing, this is all I can find (for now).

No, I don't. I looked around and saw that other one and that was it but I don't have that model. Sony, I do have other small stereo cassette players

If you want to buy this model you better get a WA-8800/ WA-8000 MKII.

I love all of those but so far they've escaped me. I'm still working my way up the WA Ladder.

this seems made for the Japanese market ... Looking at the TV and FM reception scale
    it's nice but I prefer WA-8800
