    You could play the £3.99 adverts one or any other pre-recorded cassette. Probably no better than in a £30 Sony WM22 but you could.

    I have always thought that they got DCC the wrong way round. They should have done something like HiFi VHS where the same tape would play in any old VHS machine but you got better sound quality in a HiFi VCR.
