Hi! I'm super into fixing old gadgets and while analog cameras are my main "thing", I have picked up about a dozen Walkmans, Aiwas, etc. I've also fixed three home cassette decks for recording tapes, and recently bought a huge box of cassettes because I didn't have much to listen to up until lately. I think I enjoy fixing and restoring things much more than using them, but I hope to get more into listening once I have a functioning portable cassette player for day to day use. For now, my main deck is a Sony TC-WR645S and I'm hoping to get one of my three Aiwa HS-P202s working well. I've tried to fix a WM-DDI a long time ago, but it had way too much wow/flutter to be enjoyable, which is why I've shelved the whole cassette project boxes for so long I've been lurking on this site for way too long reading repair guides and such, now I think it's finally time to create an account!
