The Italian Electronics Magazines are popping up over on archive.org. Any idea if GBC is a manuafacturer, distributor or both?

    Hello
GBC stores in Italy were spread across almost all cities from north to south and sold from single components... resistors, capacitors, transistors...
To assembly kits, but you could find anything in the electrical and electronic field, even antennas for TV and CB... Naturally they also sold radios and hi-fi components...
they also acted as distributors for other brands... I also saw radios for example with the GBC brand... There are still some GBC stores and they also sell online

We had an electronic's store down the street from our house, it wasn't huge but they stocked very similar items like cases, dials, knobs and all the electronics to build stuff. As kids we thought we could make anything with enough money, I made some school projects with their stuff. The best part was there was also a toy store next door, not little kids stuff but the cool stuff like trains, planes, models, Corgi Cars and all the other good stuff boys would look at for hours.

Friday 8th November 1991 and retailers think you should be getting ready for Christmas.

The Sony mini stereos were priced similarly to their mini TVs. The same advert had about six more normal Sonys with cheap plastic record decks at the top but these two stood out.

p.s. The Sony prices explain why several girls I knew bought Aiwas.

Yep, that one is neat and the turntable is really cool. I have the boombox version for sale locally and it's much more basic and plasticy looking and way too much for me.
