VWestlife did a video on the Radio Shack Minisette. This is the first time I've heard Sampo made it, nickeccles would probably know for sure, didn't Sampo make a lot of little TV's?

Bolt for bolt the Sampo CM-211 is the Minisette 12.
Only difference is color. Sampo is white, minisette is silver.
I’ve looked at others like JVC and they also had a version. I’ll bet there’s even more with a little poking around.

I like that one! Did Sampo build the little JVC?

I can’t say for sure but the JVC looks nearly identical.
I suspect there’s many OEM versions of that Sampo floating around. I’ve seen a few units that looked 98% identical but with a rotary volume instead of the slider, and other minor differences.

Here’s the Panasonic RX-1810. I swear this is another version of the Sampo CM-211. If so, it surprises me that Panasonic would outsource a radio back then.
Maybe they thought it wasn’t going to be a high volume seller so they outsourced it. Says a lot about Sampo if Panasonic used them.

I just pulled down the National RX-1920, it's basically the same but has a round speaker. JDM Models usually have a T-tag if someone else did the build and there's none on this one.

Here's part of Axel's Thread on his old forum on manufacturer's. I think if you look enough through time there's two longer parts to this. I don't see Sampo yet in the list but there's a lot of information.

Found up in the B&B Thread, I can't remember which Sanyo this is, I just remember getting killer deal on it.

This little Sansui is a little beat up, but the FX-300R is a sonic powerhouse. Made by Marantz of Japan there's also a Sears/Simpson Version (Canada) that C2G has shown.

I love that Fairmate, it looks beefy and you can't go wrong with multi-band. Did you guys have a lot of their products down there, we didn't get much in the USA.
