Hello, I discovered a great YT channel called Walkmanmania https://www.youtube.com/@Walkmanmania/videos He seems specialized in repairing mostly Sony Walkmans but other brands too like Aiwa for example. His content is great, usefull and well described. I plan to restore some of my Sony WM watching his videos.
That guy is on fire, lot's of repairs in the last few weeks. I've noticed more and more tape based videos popping up, some are like this one with just a few hundred views but they are being posted. I watch a ton of videos for my cars that I repair, for some reason they always leave out the one hard step, otherwise the repair looks very easy. I try to watch at least 2-3 other videos to see if they do the complete procedure but, I don't know why, they love leaving out the hard part.
He makes lots of basic repair. Meantime, he does not make any test for the control speed-belt, nor frequency testing or disassembly welding of mother card. The sound results after his repairs are for some of his Sony WM not so good. But his channel is great because he has a lot of sony WM being restored
