Challenge accepted. TBH I have seen sillier looking Bluetooth cans.

You should have asked earlier. I am also a bit worried that you can't spot the difference between a guy and a young lady !
Her style reminds me a bit of Sheena Easton

I really like some of those headphone radios, they don't get a lot of love but I'll snap them up when I see them.

I've had a quote to bring it back to fully working condition... £400. So not bad I guess???

I don’t think that’s too bad of a price, and I’m sure it would be quality work.

Make sure you get a list of what they're going to do and the time frame. For that price I'd assume new caps and belts? If you're not familar with R2R, sticky tape and tape shred are two nasty things to look for. Sticky tape is when the old tape turns into a nasty goop that is very similar to tar, touch the sides to make sure it isn't tacky. Tape shred is not as bad, the tape media comes off in small black chunks, luckily it doesn't stick as bad but it will mess up the sonics if it gets on the heads. Those tapes look old, if the machine starts slowing down stop it and check.

If you think sticky tapes is a problem do a search on "Tape Baking". Not someting I have tried myself but done by recording studios etc when they run into the problem.

I toss any I have, it's usually from a box that came with the machine and definately not worth hours of cleaning.
