Hi. I’m not sure if this topic has already been discussed here, but when walking around NYC with a Panasonic RQ-S5V cassette player near cell phone transmitters, which are usually located on top of medium height buildings, there is extreme interference in the audio signal. Does anyone else also experience interference from cell transmitters when listening to their cassette players? After a little research, I found a few different sizes of RF EMI Shielding Pouches that might rectify this problem? For those who have a better knowledge of this technology, would one of these pouches be effective in blocking or reducing cell transmitter signal interference? Thank you
I just dug a little deeper and read that these RF EMI pouches can actually block the cell signals. I’ll order one and let you all know how it works out. Thanks!
Interesting. I have never heard about this problem before. Makes some sense though. Old electronics being prone to mass interference from modern cell phone 5G towers and so forth.
