I’m offering two highly collectible vintage Sony Walkmans for sale. Both are in excellent working and cosmetic condition, as shown in the photos I’ve included on this forum. These Walkmans are perfect for collectors or anyone looking to enjoy retro audio gear.

• Sony WM-36 – Classic design and functionality.

• Sony WM-DDIII – A premium, direct-drive model known for its outstanding sound quality.

They come with a pair of headphones

Disc Drive please .

 

Indeed SONY never made any Direct Drive walkmans, all SONYs labeled DD are Disc Drive.
There are only 2 Panasonic models that were truly direct drive: RX-S40 and RX-S41.
And there's also the RX-S45 variation, but that's just an RX-S40 with separate weather case and different color scheme.
