Amazon has "Mooca natural wood Tempered glass top jewelry display case". They also have a smaller one suitable for one device.

I tried one and it's not too bad. Surprisingly good without any obvious flaws or problems. Very good reviews on Amazon. Low price. Would also fit thinner Walkman.

Well it keeps the dust off. And looks better than the Ziplock bags I've been using.

    thanks for the tip!

I use these same boxes for my collection of tactical folders, but you are absolutely right: for Discmans these are much safer than plastic bags!
going to buy a few and then add more photos - with Walkmans and Discmans inside :)

It's a sad day when your Discman has to be boxed up but yea, these things are beautiful and deserve to be preserved.

I use the Discman players frequently! But how to store them? On a table or shelf and they get thick with dust in only 1 week. Just trying to keep the dust off anything is tough around here.

I am battling dust all the time and have added 2 large custom made air filtering units back in February that have helped a lot. (check out North Box Systems or Clean Air Kits or The Nukit Tempest filter systems. Also Google Corsi-Rosenthal Box.). These things are easy to make so I had a metal shop weld thick 3mm aluminum sheet into the 20x20x8 box and then jig-saw cut out the fan holes and made one myself. Using better Noctua fans and their PWM speed controllers.
