I didn't translate this yet but it looks like a neat little portable TT from Germany. Audio Magazine 1979 (Germany) Thanks Wegavision!

Woow, cool! And you manage to find it in flesh! Really cool! :) Congrats!
If you in a while manage to open it would be interesting to see the tape transport mech.

    Hope so too... :)
I never minded if someone was taking my pics to share, only welcomed that.
as the years go by there are fewer and fewer of us, us who remember those years.

Once we are gone who would be that much interested in all those AIWAs?

I'm going to have to get out the lube to try to get a few of the screws loose, I definately don't want to strip them and even with JIS, they didn't want to budge.

Like I said, he's got one of my awesome AIWA's and Demo Tape on his thread. Do you know him or if he has a big collection?

Ah yes, of course, Oleg aka black jack, :)
I know him but not personally, only via forum Shizaudio.ru, he used to be one of active members but hasn't made appearance in our threads for quite a while like many others.. :(
I know that Oleg is one of the well known and prominent enthusiasts of our stuff in Belarus.

In August they held another annual OldAudioFest in Minsk.

A few of those guys were over here, if I remember correctly the owner of Shizaudio was a very early member of S2G. See if you can get them to post some Fest Photos over here!

Yes, if you succeed would be interesting to see how the tape trasport is organized inside.
BTW, is it functional or only radio maybe works?

    Yep, I asked my pals.

BTW, run the search of your Realistic and it appears a rare beast, found nothing,
though it was a quick search, meaining it was a really good catch! :)

Would be good if you could take some pics including that of the back badge..
    For our hobby records..
