Wow & Flutter Meter for Android - Out Now

Hi all, I made a thread some weeks ago about interest in a W&F meter for Android.

Thank you to everyone who helped with joining the closed testing, the mandatory test phase has now been passed and my app has been granted production.

I just gave it a try but something seemed wrong - gave it access to mic, started playing a tape - it was measuring spectre but showing no results..

 

Did you play a 3/3.15khz tone? It won't show measurements unless you play one of those test tones and set the app to the matching tone.

 

Got it! No, thanks! So I need to have those tones recorded first on a tape.

 

Yes, a calibration tape with the test tones, recorded on a high-quality and accurate deck, is ideal. You can usually find these on eBay unless you have your own already-accurate deck to record them on.

 

I downloaded this. Now I need to go and get something to calibrate. I have a 3,000 khz tape one September 2025

 

And since I downloaded it, there has been an update to it. I wonder what that was about the updated yesterday two September
