    Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a relatively clean Optimus (Radio Shack Brand) SCP 80. It worked well until I put in a tape that was known to be sticky and the belt fell off.
So I think I need a new belt. I have taken dimensions of the pulleys but where are people buying replacement belts today especially those living in the U.S. ? I've ordered from Manatree in the past but he is no longer shipping to the US and fixyouraudio might have a lot of tariffs?

The sound is actually quite good from this cheap player with clear treble while reproducing instruments such as cymbals.
However, there is a fair amount of motor noise and if I hold it near my router I get noise as well.
Is this normal for this model? Anything I can do about it?

Thanks for any help. Some pictures inside are attached.

Ok so I found a belt for my player. JML electronics solution in Minneapolis had some belts on hand and he was happy to help me find a good size.

I am still interested on any input on why I get some motor noise and interference from my router with this player, is this something I can fix or just the status quo for a 1999 device?

Thanks for the link Emiel, one thing I noticed about this player is the am antenna is right next to the headphone jack. Maybe I would be better off without this antenna? I can give up on listening to AM radio.
