The first thing I checked was where all the ground connections were when I first investigated the leaf switches. If I jumpered from the negative battery terminal to the power switch, the machine powered on. That's what led me down the flat cable to the headphone jack. I hope I can get this device working. I quite like the metal case, mechanical controls, and minimal features
I got the new belt installed and the center pulley does not rub. I calibrated the speed and reassembled the unit. It's working nicely for now
