Sorry, I was not sure quite where I should post this, but the Walkman section seems as good a place as any.

This "off-brand Lego" set looks pretty cool!

I will be interested to see a more detailed review when it is available, but I think it has entered my list of "must haves".

    Any thoughts?

I was looking around the website trying to figure out what their focus is, I guess neat little plastic toys and dioramas? The Mazinger Z is also interesting but sold out.

Aliexpress is probably a good place to find the Mazinger. You can also get an Astro Boy which has tempted me a few times!

I have an official Lego 'Walkman'

And another brand of the one in the video above, I think it's Jaki or something like that!

One of the stores that sells them here describes their style as "pop culture", I think that sums them up pretty well.

I can honestly say I have never heard of Mazinga Z, not sure how that one got past me!

That Astro Boy looks awesome. I have always been disappointed that I was unable to get a t-shirt with that same design that I saw on Nakamise Shopping Street because they didn't have my size! This might have to be my consolation prize.

Mazinger, Raideen The Brave, there are so many Japanese mecha robots! I have started collecting the Chogokin models and have quite a few now! Expensive but absolutely amazing!

Have a look on Mandarake's website in Japan, huge choice!
