A larger mini, the Sony CFS-DW60. I love the Sony Models with the tiny control buttons, it makes these look much nicer than cheaper piano keys. Oddly this model looks exactly like another Sony but this one has a grafted on Mega Bass Chamber which fully wraps around the back. I think mine has a dead mouse blocking it cuz the bass isn't too exciting. While the flat pistonic style square speakers look roached, it's actually just a paper covering making the round speakers look better, the unit still plays fine. It doesn't have RCA in but it does have a 1/8" jack for AUX in, most likely for a CD player.

Overall it's pretty heavy for the size and it pulls in stations nicely, definately one of the better later models.

This nice box must be among the most universal usable minis in existence. It is a walkman, it is a voice recorder, it is a compo and it is a boombox. It works on batteries, has a sort of carrying handle, records from radio and the build in microphone. It has internal connectors when the speakers are attached to the main unit and comes with extra wires to set the speakers far apart. And lightweight headphones. It actually sounds nice. And still works without any maintenance after sitting in a box for 40+ years :) Universum CTR 4065.

I had this G.E model. It was actually my first boombox I ever owned. I was satisfied enough with it. The led's only blinked to the music when in record mode which to me wasn't cool. I liked the tuning needle being green or red depending on signal strength which was cool! This pic brought back great memories.

Mine got moved, now I'm not sure where I put it? A lit up tuning needle was always a cool feature but wasn't as common as it should have been.

Yeah, you'd think it would have been a lot more common.

Yea I have it on maybe two or three, I know a big JVC has it, maybe a Sanyo but it is rare.

Yes, the double cassette model loses the line in feature in place of the second cassette. That's why I avoid that model

Yea it was a late night bargain, not my favorite but still better looking than 90% of the egg models.
