Reviving slightly old thread. Just getting ready to try this with a replacement ring (several are now being made by different parties). I could not find a single disassembly video anywhere on youtube which was surprising. Tons of videos on belt replacements often titled "repair" or "disassembly" but the level of disassembly to replace the belt (especially if you don't need to spend hour cleaning out goo) is minimal while removing the uptake reel is basically a complete teardown.

This is literally the only description I've found anywhere for actually getting the uptake reel out. It would be awesome to have a video or a post that has photos. Not that I'm not appreciative of this of course. Now for the F10, I'll have to unsolder the ribbon cable which is going to suck so I'm tackling the WM-10 first.

I have seen some disassembly of similar models on Youtube channel The Smoking Cap. He works on the f15 and f65 which share similar transports but more PCB. Not a perfect 1 to 1 but may be some help in knowing what's what
