Hi and thanks for having a site like this to share info on walkmen! I just got my second walkman, a WM AF-64. My first one got lost a long time ago. I enjoy repairing (or attempting to repair) stuff. In the last few years I have rescued a handful of TEAC reel to reel decks and a few cassette decks as well. I thought I would give a try at fixing a walkman next, so here I am! My wm AF-64 is not working very well so you may see me asking for advice here soon. Once again, Thanks for providing such a cool forum!

Hi Boodokhan, I don't know the model of my first walkman. I guess it was not very memorable. All plastic and kind of bulky with a detachable battery pack. It was an American Express loyalty prize. I'm in Santa Barbara. Next time you are in the area drop me a line!
