Hi everyone,i have just found this interessting piece and i need some help identifying and valuing this interesting piece of 1980s audio history.
These are silver, foldable pocket speakers branded as 'Rexy Onkyo'. However, they look identical in design and size as legendary Sony SS-WM20 cassette-case speakers from '82/'83.
They have an integrated cable with a 3.5mm jack. I tested them and they are fully functional! It seems to be a rare 80s clone/bootleg of the Sony model.
Has anyone ever seen this specific 'Rexy Onkyo' version ever? What are your thoughts on its rarity and potentional value for collectors?
Thans in advance for you advices. IMG_20260530_151018.jpg IMG_20260530_151030.jpg IMG_20260530_151044.jpg IMG_20260530_151049.jpg

Wow, they really copied the Sony's. We hear about factories today making a few thousand widgets for a big manufacturer and then making a few extra to sell themselves (on the black market). Hockey sticks are the latest and I can see why, easy to make and they cost around $250+ USD each.
