So I think I scored one of these, I didn't have to do a double-take to recognize it as an AKA! Can you guess what it is? Yep, that's right, you got it, an AIWA TPR-501A. Mystic pointed out the sideways transport, I'm dying to know how they made the magic happen. From the 1974 catalog.

Jorge, my journey with weird CD players keeps bringing me back to this forum and to your posts. I got myself a TEAC PD-P3 which, for what I can see, it is rebadged Realistic/Memorex CD 3250. The unit is boxed and in good working condition. I payed 36€ for it shipped. What can you tell me about it?

How have I missed this thread
I have a couple friends that worked in Radio Shack here in Canada.
The one store you could go into & buy anything for a few different hobbies.
    Always a cool store.

Yea we miss the old electronics stores, it's probably the reason I haven't done board repairs in a long, long time. It was so easy to head over to Radio Shack and hit the cabinet of caps, resistors and even lights.
