Howdy sir! I was looking for someone to help me repair my Sony Walkman WM-D6C, which has passed down from my father's hands into mine. The speed servo controller chip CX20084 has burnt out, and I have not found a way to replace it, since it is impossible to find online (Everything that came up is from China, of all places. Never trust a chip from china...) Headphone jack is also screwed. (loose traces) Thanks!
Hi there, I have a Sony Walkman TPS-L2 that I wish to repair, do you currently have space for repairs with costs/lead time? Kind regards,
Hello, I have a unit of Sony WM-D3. this was brought with all pocket money savings. I understand that the gears need to be replaced, configured and fine tuned. I am looking out for the best hand, and have come across this forum. i am based in India, but can have the device delivered. Also, I have a vintage Kenwood Midi M929M that requires service. would appreciate a guidance here. ajay
Hello, When I was a child, I was fascinated by the sound of the fabulous WM-D6C, but its price was out of reach !! I recently got one, in pristine condition to make my dream come true, after 35 years of patience... I have red a report on your activity as a sound wizard on the WM-D6C upgrade and repair, hence I decided to write you a message. Do you still service WM-D6C walkmans ? Very respectfully sent Alex
Hi Doc. How are you? I just want to know about my 2 Walkman that I sent to you to fix them long time ago. Can you tell me any thing about them? Thanks. Santi
