I have been collecting Walkmans for a long time, mainly Sony Sport models, I have managed to get almost all of them and get them into working condition, but I also have many Sony and Panasonic models in my collection. My goal with Walkmans was to create a nostalgic feeling in me and turn off the online world, go outside, or simply relax and just listen to music. I have no rational explanation for it but I love them for their simplicity, my 5 year old son also listens to them regularly, so that the future generation doesn't forget I'm glad that there are so many of us in the big world who share the same interests! Welcome to the forum! I watch a lot of YouTube and the it seems the younger set is coming around and embracing older technology. It can be a great relaxing, yet challenging hobby. Unfortunately the "gravy days" are gone and it's much harder to find the cheap Walkman or Boombox.
