One of my personal favorites, the AIWA HS-J02, it's a little chunky but these are neat players.

I had one of those, many years ago. Unbelievable sound. At least I remember it so. I have tried to get one again (a decent one), but no luck until now.

Hello Kanamaster, nice to see you back. I've got two of these awesome units and they are both in great condition, just a beautiful example of a portable with built in radio. Not only does it have the features listed above but it has an external power jack, left and right volume and the mic/aux input. There is a switch for the mic/aux, I'm not sure what the difference is.

These are heavy substantial units with an antenna, the above photo doesn't show how nice looking they are. There are a few on Ebay USA for $20-30 USD, or less, which I consider a bargain since most seem like they've seen very little use. They might have been uncool back then since they were on the larger side compared with the more cool compact designs that were starting to come out.

I also have an HS-02 hiding in one of my camera bags, travelled with it all over the place. The 2 C cell battery pack was really handy though I eventually snapped off the belt clip on the back. The mic doesn't look familiar though it might have been because I'm thinking it had a foam cover though that type of foam used to disintegrate over time. I bought it so I could record french rock stations while travelling over there.

I'm not sure if the little tiny mic (AIWA CM-2) came with a foam cover. The larger AIWA Mics like the CM-30 do come with a foam cover and by larger I mean about three inches long so they are still pretty small.

As far as I remember, the "Little tiny mic" came without any foam.
