I have an Aiwa HS-J9 on which the FM receiver does not work. The J9 is the Japanese market version of the J09 and J600. The J9 differs in that it could also receive audio of TV channels. Though this seems like a minor difference, it means the circuit diagrams for the tuner section of the main board for the J09 and J600 are not applicable. For example, the Dolby switch on the J9 is also used to select stereo FM. Making things even worse, I have found circuitry differences between the early and later versions on the J9 (early ones had a belt clip, later ones did not). I have the J09/J600 service manual, but it is useless for this problem for the J9, and I can't find a manual for the J9. The HS-R9 appears to be the same as the J9 with different cosmetics.
