    Hello guys,
I have an Aiwa HS-P505 mkII which is working fine, so I decided to buy another one needing a belt.
I unsoldered the 2 pins, then changed the belt and soldered back the pins.
Then, I powered it up, but only FF/REW was working.
I unsoldered the 2 pins again trying to find out what might be the issue, but couldn't find anything.
Now, when I solder back the 2 pins, I have no power, nothing...
    Here are some pics:

After the soldering of the 2 pins:

Also, I dropped this when opening the walkman, do you know where it fits ?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Late reply, anyway. I have a faulty unit lying around that I could send to you for a small fee. Bought it +10 years ago with the idea to restore it since the seller at the time thought it only needed a new belt. Send me a private message if you are still pursuing the restoration of this walkman.
