Hi Everyone and ALL the experts at the Stereo2go forum, I need some advice or information re my newly acquired aiwa hs-pl50. I have some experience fixing aiwa headphone stereo (such as PL30 or Pl35). Some of them are not too bad and were fixed after putting big efforts. However, this PL50 got some volume problems. After cleaning up and replacing all the leaked electrical capacitors, the device now can run cassette (the reverse mode needs some lubrication and check) without too much problem. But I cannot get the volume down, it sounds like it is always at max volume (when there was a beep or cassette playing). I have replaced the amplifier IC and volume VR but the symptom remains. I also checked many through holes which pass the continuity test from my meter. I now do not know what parts went wrong causing this issue. I would also appreciate of someone can share the download link/or a copy for HS-PL50's service manual. Thank you so much.
