    Who ever said that CrO2 formula cassette tape was anything less than stellar in performance has never experienced Maxell"s UDXL I/II (1980s) tapes. UDXL II's are still my favorite CrO2 cassette tape.

    Speaking of Metals..... The ultimate is made of solid brass metal <grin> !!!

    Not only were they great tapes, they were reasonably priced. Maybe it was a Midwest thing but these were a staple at any collage around me. A lot of members might not have known how valuable home recorded tapes were back then, it seemed every week someone would tell the woes of having a car window broken for the tapes left on the seat.
