    So Yesterday..........

I posted on Facebook the subject of BASF Chrome Extra II Cassettes stating how damn good they were.........

Sent a couple of these for nothing to try out - Thanks Tim & the memories came flooding back on playback! :)
Due to the great responses from around the world, I am back one day later!!

Now, I only record tapes for my Boombox collection so a 3 Head Technics RS-BX727 & an SL-PS620A CD Player may seem like overkill really!! But I make cassette recordings to last forever! I have dozens of these very cassettes recorded in the 80's & early 90's that still play & sound better than you would expect being that old..........

So this evening I bring you a brand new & newly recorded clip of how lovely these tapes sound, fantastic dynamic range, low noise floor & just a joy to listen to!!

Starring tonight is my rather beautiful Fisher PH-430LG Portable Compo System........

Thanks for the videos. The BASF CE II is a brand I regularly use because of its performance. Not many Type II cassettes have the good bass reproduction dominant on premium ferric tapes - but this BASF does.
