Can walkman remote (rm-wmf5) be used on Sony walkman fx-673?

i am finding replacement remote for my walkman, i got rm-wmf5. All things goes pretty well the audio is normal but I can't control, like can't using the start/stop , Forward or Reverse button. Is that normal or the rm-wmf5 can't be used on fx-673? ( i am trying to find the right rm-wmf3 but there's none)

You need to compare the resistor ladders of the Walkman that the RM-WMF5 belongs too.
Wasn't it originally paired with the WM-GX780?
