Hey all. Hope you are all doing well. Well since acquiring a DC-2 and a couple of DD3's I found the slider lock for the cassette lid are quite worn so the lid will not close properly. Has anyone here tried to get them repaired and if so, how? I've seen one for sale on ebay a while back but can't seem to find any more. I thought about adding some epoxy to it and shaping it to fit but I found it would just break off to easily over time.
Im working on a new tough resin SLA 3d printed version In the mean time there is a quick fix.... undo the two screws that hold the lid on slightly, now slightly twist the lid in place so that the catch engages properly and then whilst holding firm in this position, tighten up the screws... You should not notice any difference in appearance, with regards to how the lid sits with the rest of the body. But that little nudge will re-engage the catch
