Hi all, I recently won a Denon DCP-100 at a local auction, it came in box with manual, case and it's lithium battery. I paid $20 (12 USD/12 euros) for it. I was wanting to know what makes them special? It is fully functional and has no damage other than needing a replacement battery and the volume wheel being a bit crackly in the headphones but assuming that is a pot issue needing some contact cleaner? I used it yesterday and love the sound it produces, is there anything I need to do to protect it or help it's longevity?
Great find and purchase! See this thread started by @Jorge for more info: http://stereo2go.com/forums/threads/denon-dcp-100-my-dream-discman.4805/
The review I posted must be in the Walkman Archeology Thread, you'll have to wade through a bunch of pages to find it.
