Denon H5 Speaker Replacement

Found this pair of brand new old stock Mohawk 4" car speaker for replacement faulty side of my Denon H5. The other one will wait until it fails before attempt to replace it coz it's really hard to remove the back cover while all the phillip screw heads were gone due to rust. Only way is to force damage the back cover.

 

The sound quality finally restore to its original condition, fuller and punchy.

 

I suspect many of these cheap speaker cabinets were glued together around the drivers.
Did you manage to make a new back cover ?

 

I glued back the pieces and do a quick touch up with aerosol spray... for time being.
